NOMENCLATURAL NOTE: In the original description (KRAATZ 1859), the epithet was spelled as “ionicus”. The incorrect subsequent spelling “jonicus” was originally introduced by KIESENWETTER (1864: 247), and since then it was unfortunately used in a number of catalogues.
